Good as You blogger Jeremy Hooper has unearthed the following audio, in which a man identified as the same Pastor Charles L. Worley of North Carolina's Providence Road Baptist Church again condemns the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community. According to Hooper, the audio dates back to 1978, the very same year that Worley began preaching at Providence Road Baptist Church.
The most horrifying moment comes at the end of the clip, when Worley declares, "Forty years ago [LGBT people] would've hung, bless God, from a white oak tree!"
