The Nihilism Of The Left
The Czech writer Joseph Skvorecky once asked the following question: "Has there even been a case in history of a political system collapsing overnight, not as an aftermath of a lost war or bloody revolution but from its own inner rottenness?" To answer the question posed by Skvorecky, one need only observe the current state in which we find our country today. The nation has been debilitated by the onslaught wrought by the left and their totalitarian ideology which has been implemented with little to no opposition from the right. The left has been successful in bringing about their vision of a classless society, a society not of equal opportunity, but of equal condition even though that vision contradicts human nature itself.
"To understand the left", writes Daniel Greenfield, "you need to remember that it does not care about 99 percent of the things it claims to care about." Gay rights only matter in that those of the militant gay community can be used by the left as a weapon to destroy religious people and institutions that do not conform. Civil rights only matter in so far that the left can use their various activist mobs, fixated on inanimate objects such as a flag, to fuel racial unrest and propagate the illusion that racism is rampant and in our DNA. The left, "fights all sorts of social and political battles not because it believes in them, but to radicalize, disrupt and take power", writes Greenfield. This is why you can't find common ground with the left. As Greenfield notes, "it is an activist machine dedicated to destroy common ground, not only with the right, but even with its own allies on the left. Progress turns what was once progressive into what is reactionary. And what was reactionary into what is progressive...the left will destroy the things you care about, because you care about them. It will destroy them because that gives them power over you."
Speak out against illegal immigration by shining the light on the inconvenient truth that illegal aliens kill, rape, and assault Americans and the left will open up the gates of hell to destroy you. Not because your wrong, but because you dare go against the narrative propagated by both the left and the pathetic right. Namely that narrative insists that Illegal immigrants are not only "undocumented children", but that they are "Dreamers" simply taking advantage of Republicans failure to pass "comprehensive immigration reform". So what then is the point of even speaking the truth on issues such as illegal immigration knowing that the left and some on the right will attack you with vengeance? Why not simply accommodate the left by agreeing to implement whatever "reform" they propose? The answer is simple, if today you decide to accommodate the left, tomorrow it will be used against you.
You cannot accommodate the left for they view you as an enemy which cannot possibly progress enough to be acceptable as the left identifies progress with political conformity. A tolerant and progressive Republican is a contradiction in terms. Greenfield elaborates:
In an expression of its nihilism, the modern day liberal of the left organizes solely as a movement against rather than for. They are not for any of the numerous causes that they purport to They are less concerned about creating the future than they are about about destroying the present. In truly Orwellian fashion the democrat party seeks power entirely for its own sake. It is not interested in the good of others; they're interested solely in power, pure power. Yet, the left is different from the oligarchies of the past in that they know what they're doing. I know of no other description in which the left today is better defined than in the following sentences written by George Orwell in his classic 1984. Orwell's description of "the Party" in 1984 is chillingly prophetic as it encapsulates the current ideology that predominates the left. Orwell writes:
To further demonstrate how fascistic the left has become I offer those who remain skeptical of the left's ambitions a recent exchange that I had on Twitter with Sally Kohn of CNN. In response to an article written by Kohn on The Daily Beast titled The New Post-Homophobic Christianity in which Kohn states "Will anti-gay Christians be politically and socially ostracized? I sure hope so", I responded with a tweet emphasizing that this is what bigotry looks like. Kohn replied in fascistic fashion. Below is the exchange.
As you can see, those like Kohn epitomize the left as they use issues, in this case "gay rights", as a means to achieve their end, silencing those who oppose their views by labeling them "anti" this or "bigot" that. The hypocrisy of her statement is beyond comprehension, but what it represents is the nature of the liberal agenda. There can be no debate as those like Kohn place themselves upon the alter of self-righteousness while simultaneously smearing and attacking those who dare "cling to religion". Examples such as this are symptomatic of the Orwellian left. The issue for the them is never the issue, the issue is always power and the more we acquiesce to their agenda the more we allow ourselves to not only lose our liberty, but win our enslavement.
