REPORT: Emails Prove IRS Targeted Tea Party to Help Democrats

A report by a Congressional Committee shows that the IRS deliberately targeted Tea party groups in order to help Democrats.
Yet, Obama made the ridiculous claim  that there isn’t even a “smidgen” of corruption in the IRS, and he knew nothing about the scandal, despite proof that the Justice Department was aware of the IRS abuse but did nothing.
However, we know that the IRS chief met with Obama over 100 times, and an IRS official from the Cincinnati office says that the order to target Tea Party groups came from Washington.
An IRS attorney has also claimed that Obama-appointed IRS officials in DC directed and laid out the guidelines for the targeting of Tea Party groups.
Now a report has been released by the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee that looks closely at numerous emails to and from IRS official Lois Lerner.  Breitbart reports:
The emails show concern from Lerner about the Citizens United case decision hurting Democrats in the upcoming Senate elections. One document shows Lerner saying the Supreme Court gave the issue to the IRS “to fix the problem.”
She said, “The Supreme Court dealt a huge blow, overturning a 100-year old precedent that basically corporations couldn’t give directly to political campaigns. And everyone is up in arms because they don’t like it. The Federal Election Commission can’t do anything about it. They want the IRS to fix the problem.”
After a senior advisor emailed her about the political danger Democrats could be placed in, she replied in an e-mail, “Perhaps the FEC will save the day.”
In regards to an email about the businessmen and benefactor Koch brothers, Lerner wrote:
“We do need a c4 project next year,” Lerner wrote. While she initially said, “my object is not to look for political activity,” later in the exchange she acknowledged that it will examine political activity. “We need to be cautious so it isn’t a per se political project.  More a c4 project that will look at levels of lobbying and pol. Activity along with exempt activity.”
The report goes on to discuss Lerner’s mishandling of applicant information in emails, the same emails that illegally shared applicant records with White House officials.
The Oversight Committee points out that Lerner mishandled 6103 taxpayer information by dealing with such data from her personal e-mail account. Lerner, however, told Congress under oath in Novmber of 2013, “I have not violated any IRS rules or regulations.” In a November 2013 letter from Daniel Werfel, Werfel writes, “We do not permit IRS officials to send taxpayer information to their personal email addresses.” Werfel stresses that this is the case even if information is redacted.
The report concludes:
Ultimately, the Oversight report says, Lerner personally placed all Tea Party applicants through a “multi-tier review.” An IRS employee testified that Lerner “sent [him an] e-mail saying that when these cases need to go through multi-tier review and they will eventually have to go to [Judy Kindell, Lerner’s senior technical advisor] and the Chief Counsel’s office.” A D.C. IRS employee said this level of scrutiny had no precedent.
It is abundantly clear that the IRS abused their power in targeting Tea Party groups for extra scrutiny.  It is just as clear that the orders for this targeting came from the top, and were not the work of a handful of rogue agents in a regional office.
Lois Lerner pleading the 5th and refusing to testify before Congress only confirms that she has committed illegal activities.  If she were innocent and had nothing to hide, she would not invoke her right against self-incrimination.
People need to be arrested for their illegal actions and IRS abuse.  Those involved need to be subpoenaed and compelled to testify.  Administration officials that are involved need to be publicly identified and dealt with accordingly.
There must be an end to the White House lies about the scandal, and the Democrats stalling and obstruction of a proper investigation.

The hypocrisy of Barack Obama

Question: Who said it?

“We’ve got a government that was designed by the Founders with checks and balances. You don’t want a president that is too powerful, a congress that is too powerful, a court that is too powerful. Everybody’s got their own role. Congress’s job is to pass legislation. The president can veto it or sign it. But what George Bush has been doing as a part of his effort to accumulate more power in the presidency is he's been saying well I can basically change what congress passed by attaching a letter that says I don’t agree with this part or that part. I’m going to choose to interpret it this way or that way. That’s not part of his power, but this is part of the whole theory of George Bush that he can make laws as he goes along. I disagree with that. I taught the Constitution for 10 years. I believe in the Constitution and I will obey the Constitution of the United States.”

Answer: On May 19, 2008, Senator Obama complained about President Bush’s use of signing statements to affect the implementation of a law passed by Congress. A questioner at the campaign event asked “do you promise not to use signage to get your way.”

What countries' constitution did you teach Barry?

Sen. Feinstein Rips CIA: Spying on Congressional Staffers May Have Violated Constitution

More Hypocrisy from DiFi

Chair of the Senate Intelligence CommitteeDianne Feinstein (D-CA) — or DiFi, as she’s known on the Twitterz — took to the Senate floor to excoriate the Central Intelligence Agency forallegedly spying on Senate staffers who were investigating, wait for it, the CIA.
“Based on what Director Brennan has informed us, I have grave concerns that the CIA’s search may well have violated the separation of powers principles embodied in the United States Constitution, including the speech and debate clause,” Feinstein said. “It may have undermined the constitutional framework essential to effective congressional oversight of intelligence activities or any other government function.”
“I have asked for an apology, and a recognition that this CIA search of computers used by its oversight committee was inappropriate,” Feinstein continued. “I have received neither.”
The Senate staffers were investigating the CIA’s use of detention programs in preparation for a 3,600-page report. To allow the staffers to view classified materials, the CIA set them up at secure computers at Langley, which, according to a McClatchy scoop last week, were monitored by the CIA in express violation of an agreement between the agency and Congress.

THE VIEW FROM THE BRINK The 'Ukraine Crisis' now casts a shadow over Election 2014

by RICHARD E. BERG-ANDERSSON
TheGreenPapers.com Staff
It began with street demonstrations in Independence Square- the Maidan- in Ukraine's capital, Kiev, during late November of last year to protest then-Ukrainian President Victor Yanukovich's rejection of closer economic ties with the European Union just to Ukraine's west in favor of even closer such ties with the Russian Federation of its President, Vladimir Putin: soon, however, the demonstrations became about more than the narrower focus of West vs. East- Europe vs. Russia; instead, and more and more, the 'Euro-Maidan' movement came to symbolize the frustration amongst many Ukrainians of what they saw as a corrupt government under Yanukovich (seen as Putin's puppet no less than is Russia's own Prime Minister- Dmitri Medvedev [who served as a "seat-warming" President for six years- with Putin as (allegedly) his Prime Minister- in between Putin's own two terms as the Russian Federation's Chief Executive])...

A small victory, In California?? Yolo Co. conceal, carry gun policy is unconstitutional, appeals court says

Gun rights advocates are claiming victory after a federal appeals court ruled Wednesday that Yolo County was wrong to deny concealed and carry permits.
In 2011, a district court upheld Yolo County's policy that anyone wanting a permit to carry a concealed handgun had to show "good cause." Now, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit has ruled that policy unconstitutional, which follows a similar ruling in San Diego County.

New NRA ad: Politicians 'don't rule' Americans or 'give us rights'

A new NRA ad that highlights comments made by President Obama and former President Bill Clintonreminds politicians that they do not "rule" Americans, nor "give" Americans rights, The Blaze reported Wednesday.
"In a recent closed-door speech to donors, politicians and media, Bill Clinton spoke about American gun owners: 'A lot of these people … all they’ve got is their hunting and their fishing,'" the ad says.

Sheriff warns of second American revolution if gun confiscation laws pass

Milwaukee County Sheriff David Clarke warned of a second American revolution if gun control and gun confiscation passed and said he would not enforce laws requiring confiscation in his county while speaking with Alex Jones, Infowars reported Tuesday.
“First of all, to me that would be an act of tyranny," he said of the gun control measures currently under consideration. "So the people in Milwaukee County do not have to worry about me enforcing some sort of order that goes out and collects everybody’s handgun, or rifles, or any kind of firearm and makes them turn them in.”

Georgia House passes bill to begin the process of nullifying Obamacare, 115-59

Leftists', get it through your thick skulls, if we don't like it we don't have to keep it!
ATLANTA, Mar. 3, 2014 – Today, the Georgia state house of representatives passed a bill which bans the state from participating in significant portions of the Affordable Care Act (ACA). House Bill 707 (HB707), introduced by Rep. Jason Spencer, pushes back against the ACA in five ways. It passed the house in a late-night vote of 115-59.
Specifically, HB707:
1. Prohibits any state agencies, departments or political subdivisions from using resources or spending funds to advocate for the expansion of Medicaid. This provision works hand-in-hand with HB990 to make it more difficult to expand Medicaid. HB990 would require legislative approval for expansion of the program, barring the governor from doing it by executive order.
2. Prohibits the state of Georgia from running an insurance exchange.
3. Refuses and federal grant money for the purpose of creating or running a state insurance exchange.
5. Prohibits the Commissioner of Insurance from investigating or enforcing any alleged violation of federal health insurance requirements mandated by Obamacare.

Here we go: CT Cops Seize 69-Year-Old’s 274 Legal Guns and Charge Him with 17 Felonies

A Connecticut man found himself in the crosshairs of his state’s anti-2nd amendment policies for simply having too many guns and being a rocketeer.
Police raided the home of Joseph Callahan, 69, on Monday and charged him with 11 counts of illegal possession of explosives and six counts of first-degree reckless endangerment after finding 274 guns in his home in Fairfield Connecticut.
Callahan is a gun aficionado who collects guns and is also a retired chemist who is an amateur rocketeer.  And according to the NY Daily News  “at least some of the chemicals found appeared to be for his rocketry hobby.”  I’m guessing that all of those chemicals were used for his hobby.
Callahan’s attorney Richard Meehan said that his client is harmless and had no intentions of doing anyone any harm.  He is simply a gun collector who also happened to work for DuPont as well as gunmaker Remington Arms, which is how his attorney says he acquired most of his guns.

WHEN THEY COME: A Warning to Connecticut Police

CT SWAT
Friday, June 27th, 2014, 0-dark-thirty:  The politicians have made their decision. By a twist of fate–your file simply happened to be on the top of the stack for no particular reason–you’ll be the first example. A state police SWAT team pull to the curb in front of your home, leap from their van and rush to your front door. Two black-clad men pull back a ram and swing it toward your front door, aiming just above the knob, while the rest of the team waits anxiously, their automatic weapons charged and off safe. Two hope they’ll get the opportunity to shoot. At least one wants to manufacture the opportunity.

Brace Yourself for Hillary and Jeb

WASHINGTON — OY. By the time the Bushes and Clintons are finished, they are going to make the Tudors and the Plantagenets look like pikers.
Before these two families release their death grip on the American electoral system, we’re going to have to watch Chelsea’s granddaughter try to knock off George P.’s grandson, Prescott Walker Bush II. Barack Obama, who once dreamed of being a transformational president, will turn out to be a mere hiccup in history, the interim guy who provided a tepid respite while Hillary and Jeb geared up to go at it.
